Our Class A Fire Resistant woods are treated with SaferWood Thermex-FR, and are approved for exterior use in residential and commercial applications where FRTW is specified as a code compliant alternative to non-combustible materials. Compliant codes include IBC, IRC, IWUIC

SUSTAINABLE | THERMOWOOD

Thermal Modification is a sustainable, ethical wood treatment with heat and steam, that cooks out the sugars and hardens the wood, serving as an elevated alternative to tropical hardwoods for exterior applications.  Our domestically sourced Thermally Modified Woods are renewable and responsibly harvested, chemical free, lightweight, heat neutral, decay resistant, and 60% more dimensionally stable than non modified woods.  Suitable for interior, exterior and transitional spaces.  Color can be maintained with UV tinted oil.
